Dallas Kicks North Venom - Open Spots for 2017/2018 Season

Dallas Kicks North - Venom will be looking to add 3-4 players for the 2017/2018 season. We will be playing in the classic qualifying tournament in May and will open up several positions for competition in June.

We currently train in Highland Village and play in Plano's PPIL Blue division. The team's regular season record over the last two years is 32-2-1 so we feel it is time to move on to the next challenge and try to qualify for classic league.

We are looking for players who can compete for a starting spot at the following positions:

Defenders: looking for 2 fullbacks (outside defenders), will consider a central defender that can also play outside
Midfielders: looking for 2 strong center mids, preferably defensive mids
Goalkeeper: we have a strong GK who also plays mid but will consider a GK strong enough to win the starting spot or at least strong enough to split time in goal

We resume training this week on Tue/Thu/Sat. Currently working on setting up a scrimmage for this Sat, 4/22, at MoneyGram. Players with releases or written permission from their coach are welcome to join us.

Open training continues next week Tue/Thu, 6:30-8:00pm. Team has advanced to second round of classic qualifier in 03B age group. Will consider strong 04s who are able to compete with 03s.

We have 1 roster spot left. Fully expecting to sign several classic-caliber, impact players this weekend, including some with classic D2, classic D1, and DA experience.
