Texans Boys ECNL?

Does this mean Texans will play DA and ECNL on the boys side?

Wow...and I thought the big 3 were going to have a hard time fielding 10 DA teams with quality players.

I don’t see how Texans can fill 4 DA teams AND an ECNL roster.

With the Texans signing up Solar will likely announce soon. I heard they were close last year.

I have a U-Little BB. Excluding DTS, I think there is only one Texans team in his age group. There's a ton of Solar and FCD teams! Has it always been this way?

At U12, they'll have 4 9v9 teams next year. Two DA teams for the Texans and two more for Texans South.

If Texans South doesn't follow up with a U13 DA after next year, there will be a lot of players looking for U13 options. Right now they only have 1 U13 DA team.

U13 ECNL could be a good option for some of those 07 players that will be looking for a home.

We all just turned into traveling teams. Ugh.

why would you play ECNL on the boys side and play Classic League 1 competition or below out of state and pay for all the extra travel. For me, you're either good enough for DA or you play D1, just don't see the upside.

I didn't even think about this but the clubs need a spot for the u16 and u18 DA players and this might provide a spot for them until DA creates u16 and u18 individual age divisions.  This past year those boys that didn't make the u16/17 and u18/19 DA teams had to go back to classic league or the team just spent the year training and playing in tournaments.  Solars u16 team took a spot in 02 classic league, Texans u16 played up a year in 01 classic league, and I heard the FCD u16 trained all year and just entered tournaments.  This could give the club a year of them playing together in ECNL until the following year that they would make the DA team.

Just a thought.

They used to do this for the u13 and u15 ages groups with TePAL, Texas Pre-Academy League back when there was only u14, u16, and u18 DA.

Good question regarding how competitive it will be. Better than Classic or playing up in Classic?

Looking at the standings this year, Liverpool is playing in all the age groups. Anybody have any color on the competition? Is it worth all the travel?

If the option is move the U16 and U18 DA teams into ECNL. What happen the following year with the the spot when it is U17 and U19?
Do the clubs move their top D1 team to just fill those spots. It will still be a mess cause someone will get screwed one year later.
