Fusion FC 03B- Adding players for QT- for Boys U12 Classic L

03Boys have spots open and are looking for players who have a release who can transfer to our team.
Our team will be competing for a spot during the QT- in late May.
Deadline for adding is April 15. You will need a release from your current team to be able to play.
Cost is very affordable for select. Our group of players and families are very committed, we just need 1-3 more players. The team has been together for a few years and we are just looking for our last couple of pieces to add to our team.
We practice Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-8:30pm in The Colony/Carrollton.

i didn't think ntssa allowed transfers AFTER APRIL 1 each year?

General releases from a competitive team will not be allowed after April 1.
Players who do not intend to return to their team the following year and who have not requested
a release prior to April 1 are still rostered to the original team through June 30. Therefore, in
order to guest play, practice, or otherwise participate in soccer activities with another team, the
player must first obtain a guest player release (to guest play in a tournament) from his/her current
coach prior to June 30.

I think that's why he says "looking for players who have a release who can transfer to our team." but I don't know how you can be released without knowing which team you are going to. Release to rec is one thing... but a general release I'm unsure about., because the paperwork asks which team you are transferring to.

OH!! so you can still add to roster IF KID WAS RELEASED PRIOR TO APRIL 1ST. gotcha! i learn something new every day    

I don't really know to be honest... I know you can be released to either a new team... or to rec. But this coach asks for kids who have a release in hand, which I don't know how this is possible. Maybe someone who knows definitively can pipe up. It does seem odd that Classic league puts a "freeze" on the roster of April 15th for QT, but players can't be released after April 1st... so there is a two week window for something maybe.

You can get a general release... You check "Player transferring to a different club – all parties in agreement". You don't have to fill in where you're going, the coach just has to agree to give you a general release. If they have turned it in before Apr. 1st, they are released to whatever team signs them... giving them until April 15th to sign up for another team if they want to play in the QT. If the coach doesn't agree, they are released to rec.

in regards to coach "agreeing". coach does not have to agree to release it's just easier. there are a number a reasons why ntssa would over ride coach WITHOUT A HEARING and many other reasons that one could earn a release through a hearing    

NTSSA Rule 3.10.6. However, it is the Competitive Committee’s policy
that transfer requests for the following reasons will be granted without a hearing, after
verification with the coach and/or manager of the team:
1. Lack of playing time, i.e., less than approximately 10-12 minutes per game on
average;
2. Players wishing to transfer to another team within their club; and
3. Upon finding that a substantial misrepresentation was made on the team/club fact
sheet handed out at tryouts and the incorrect information was an influential part of
the player’s decision to join a team.

Transfers that are approved by
the player’s current coach may be granted at any time prior to April 1. Transfers
that are contested by the coach may be granted only between December 1 and
January 31 for U-11 through U-14 players, and December 1 and March 15 for U-
15 through U-19 players. No transfers will be granted after April 1.

There are a pool of players that received competitive release from their coach to NTX. They can guest play with anyone with a guest player form signed by NTX and I imagine these select few would be able to join the roster prior to the freeze. A player does not have to have a "receiving coach" in order to complete the release. This allows a player to get released from a cooperative coach and "park" at NTX while they search or until June.
