Class of 2015 College Commitments...

I know it's still somewhat early, but in the "heat" of ID Camp "season" I wanted to start this topic. Who will lead the way with the most commitments? DA, CL, or just dedicated showcase teams??? My BB had a good time @ the Ouachita Baptist ID Camp yesterday...GOOD LUCK to ALL of CLASS of 2015!!!

This post is almost a month old; no verbal commitments...? Shocking with all the talent in NTX.

Maybe it is still too early?

Has anyone even done the list of where the 14s are going?

Someone should inform us in who is going where in the class of 2014. Maybe, someone should post it in the 96 page.

any updates??? haven't seen anything for the 14's either.

I saw that Puskarich posted his 2014s but he seems to be the only one? Usually Ayses is all over the place with it???

They're all from big clubs?
Or is it just what only the big clubs post?

From my history of falling topdrawer; any team/club can list oral commitments.

Not a very comprehensive list based on looking at the girls 2017 commitments. Well over half of my daughter's team is verbally committed, and they don't have but 2 listed. I'm guessing the boy's commits aren't up-to-date either.

My understanding is also that men's coaches wait much longer than the women's coaches to make offers because the boys are still growing whereas most of the girls have finished.

Plus there are less scholarships in boys soccer, so they can't afford to take fliers on young talent that doesn't pan out.

I was wondering how accurate this list is since it is highly off on the girls side of it. There is a list of girl commits out there that gets updated quickly. You can sort by graduating class, club, college commits, etc. It is pretty thorough and eerily accurate. My daughter verbally committed on a Sunday evening and flew back home that night. We hadn't told a soul. By Monday morning, she was on that list. Creepy!

But I'm not really in the know when it comes to boys soccer. My boy is in only an 04. I don't expect the college offers to start pouring in until at least 6th grade. That's how it works, right?

I heard the '04s are going pro next year. Forget college. LOL!

Any updates...? I'm interested to see what NTX clubs will be leading the way with 2015 signings (or commitments). I do agree with topdrawer not being up to date with commitments (as of yesterday); some notable names were missing from their list.

Update from the ETX region (FCD ETX and ETX Premier): more to come in the coming days (weeks) for ETX Premier; all 7 rostered seniors are expected to sign a NOL; although registered as a U19 team, the majority of the roster are 98's and 99's.
