Were there any teams that received byes into PPL?

Team that finished 4th in pool for first week of Classic QT has a bye. I don't know if this is true for all 10 pool fourth place teams or not

I see a lot of 4th place finishers from Classic QT listed. Why would any team get a bye the 1st year?

they have done that in the past when teams go into the second weekend that do not qualify for Classic. I doubt they do it this year.

I noticed FCD Pritchett received a bye.  Called one of the parents from the team and they confirmed.

Any predictions? ??

Still games to finish. A lot of teams having fun and hoping for best outcome. Anyone have thoughts on the tournament?

Sorry - all new to me, so a few basic questions.

How many teams make it to PPL div 1 from the qual tourney?  Is it 1st place from each bracket?  

What is the split for div 2 and 3 (2nd thru 3rd = div 2?)

Lastly, do the top few teams who win PPL1 automatically get placed (ie promoted) into a lower classic league division?  Or are the two leagues otherwise unrelated.  I had heard of the CL challenge tournament in May but did not know if that was the only way to get promoted to CL

I can also confirm the byes. Seemed a lot more out of scheduling convenience since there were 42 teams for PPL and 10 brackets to fill. Do not know what the decision process was on awarding the 2 byes - possibly looked at difficulty if CL QUAL bracket and threw 4th places a bone?

D1 will have 19 teams, rest go to D2.

Plano Premier League's schedule from Fall 2013 shows 19 in D1, 10 in D2, 10 in D3, and 7 in D4.
