STAAR vs DC
2014/2015 STAAR Testing Dates
March 30:
7th Grade Writing Day 1
9th Grade English I
March 31:
7th Grade Writing Day 2
8th Grade Reading
10th Grade English II
April 1:
7th Grade PreAP Math will take 8th Grade STAAR Math
Hopefully the organizers will not schedule games during school hours for the local teams. STARR tests are mandatory.

STARR ...... what a joke....just skip it.....you can always take the test later.......or not at all.....

most teams will only have a game on 1 of those 3 days. maybe two. games are usually 6 pm but last year year one of our games was at 4pm so BB left school at 2

8th grade math test for both 8th graders and 7th PreAP students has been moved to April 20.
If students are absent on testing day, they can make up any day during the remainder of the week.
The test is timed - 4 hours long. So testing should be over by 1:00 (latest) assuming the school starts testing by 9:00am.
