Any idea who will be coaching the PA teams? Both PA teams (especially the U15s) under Hassan struggled a lot this year. The no fee structure and Andromeda's pool should help them recruit.

The U15's were under Hudgell not Hassan. 9 of the 99 boys played up on Hudgells U16 USSF Academy team so it left U15's weaker than they would have otherwise been. The U14's that move to U15's are in first place. FCD and Dynamo can't beat them.

Thanks; that explains why the 99's (PAs) are second to last place and Hudgell's U15-U16's DA are in 3rd place but then again his U17-U18's are second to last place too.

I did not think standings were kept for U14's DA but a quick look does show your BB's team is doing well. Good job. Maybe next year they will win DC.  

So who's coaching the PA U13 and U15 next year?

Hassan said he is coaching PA U13, but I didn't ask him about U15 so I have no idea. If you are selected to play for him in PA you won't be required to dual roster for any of the Texans Classic league teams unless you want to.

Yes, U-13 PA this fall is 02 birthyear. If an 03 birthyear makes that team he is playing up.

U14 DA this fall is 01 and 02 birthyear, so some older 02s may play DA instead of PA.

Isn't Academy similar to normal soccer years, i.e., 8/1 to 7/31? So for U14 DA, it's 8/1/01 to 7/31/02, just like normal. It's ODP that's unique to birth year, i.e., 01's (born 1/1/01 to 12/31/01).

This year DA U13/U14 was all 01 and 00 birth year players but most teams had mainly all 00 Birth year.

The PA for U13 this year was pure 01s: Jan 01-Dec 01. There were some 02 birth year kids, but I would consider them playing up.

For next year the U13 PA is mainly 02 birth year but some 03s will probably be in there. I would consider the 03s playing up.

There won't be many 03 birth years whose b-days are not after July 31, 2002.

any 03 birth year boys will definitely be playing. even 03 club yr players born aug 1st and dec 31st of 02 will be playing up for the first time in most of their lives. they have always been the oldest in club. my BB felt like he was playing down first year of pre-academy. he has march birthdate

Not sure why they just don't call it DA 01's or PA 02's, like they do with ODP 01's.
