Are we really playing Sunday 25th

Absolutely no updates, is the CCSAI hotline working? With all that rain we need to know if Ken Smith is still playing. Got to go now and drive please help if you know anything.

PLEASE NOTE: Sunday May 24, 9:00am The Ken Smith Memorial Day tournament has been cancelled. The fields are unplayable because of the amount of rain that has fallen and is continuing to fall. Because there are no clear winners of the divisions, the Dallas Cup Invitations will revert back to the Dallas Cup Selection Committee. Although we have tried every possible way to play the tournament, the weather has not cooperated and we appreciate the support from all the teams. Thank you, KSMDT

What is going to happen with the challenge?

I don't know any more than you but I think they'll try to finish out the challenge games. They can use weeknights and next weekend and there aren't as many games to schedule anyway since there are no quarterfinals, semifinals, etc. Last I heard they will release a revised schedule today and be ready to play Tuesday evening. Our age group had already had some "Round 1" games shifted to the second weekend anyway so I expect Round Two games to basically be scheduled to immediately follow Round One games.

That sounds like a reasonable plan. Not sure the weather is going to cooperate. Lots of rain in the forecast all next week
