06AP Teams, where will you play in the Spring?
Spring season will be here before we know it, so I'm interested in where teams will be doing their league play. With so much switching going on, I know there are new AP06 teams being assembled throughout DFW, weekly. I see the posts popping up on this forum often. It seems like we have quite a few AP league options for the Spring. To name a few...UAL, Primetime, SDL, PIT.
As of right now, we (FCD-Barboza AP06) are undecided on a Saturday/Sunday league. I believe we will enter the PIT's AP Fri/Sun league. The information says 9v9 on the outdoor field, so I can only assume they are using the entire space. That would be a nice setup, with a great pitch, and they are giving 30min halves. Obviously, it might not be ideal for the teams on the other side of DFW, especially on Friday night.
I know in the Fall, UAL Platinum Saturdays had most of the top traditional 06 teams in it. Maybe, we can look to do something similar in the Spring with AP06s. Would love to hear from some of the AP06s out there.

Re: 06AP Teams, where will you play in the Spring?
We are still in need of a couple players for our AP06 FWFC South Naizer team. We currently have 8, but need a goalie and a sub or two. For us, it just depends on whether we can get the players we need before the Spring. If not, we will have to wait until Select in the Fall. This should make a very interesting year for our age group, seeing all the former top teams reformed with AP06s. I know many of them have had a majority of 05s make up their 06 teams. Should shake it up a bit and be fun. If we do get players, we will see yall in the Spring in UAL

Re: 06AP Teams, where will you play in the Spring?
Wanted to bring this back up to see if any AP06 coaches or managers would share where they plan to play this Spring. Our team's plan (FCD-Barboza) is to play UAL-Saturday and then PIT AP on Fri/Sun. However, if other top teams are playing elsewhere, we would like to follow. Or, if there are not enough teams, we need to look into playing in a traditional age league.

Meja Gonzalez 06 Boys AP will most likely be playing UAL on Sundays if not Saturdays, this season should be a lot of fun...

AGE PURE 06 for the SPRING
The PIT will be providing an AGE PURE 06 League option for Friday and Sunday as an alternative to the leagues that are playing on Saturday.
Most of the top AGE PURE 05 (that were 06's) have shown interest in playing the 9v9 at the PIT.
We will be using a larger part of the entire outdoor field to play the 9v9 game. The pitch is great with correct goal size for the playing format.
You should consider this as a great league play option. This is the time to prepare for select in July by getting as many games as possible.
Cost is $650 per team for 8 games and 30min halves.
