Dallas Texans South 02 AP Open Practice

02 Dallas Texans South will be adding players for the upcoming 2016-2017 D1 Classic League season. We are looking for motivated and dedicated players that are eager to snap into an established program with proven success.

Tryouts begin May 9th with multiple tournaments planned for May/June. Practice times listed below:

Wednesday 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM Field F

Will those May/June tournaments be the upcoming Fall Year Pure?

Yes, plan to register for two 02 AP tournaments and we will consider a third based on need and availability. There will be options for inter club scrimmages too.

Was curious about the open practice thing, with tournaments still flying around.
But if signing day is in July, wouldn't all of the potential '02 AP players have to get guest player releases from their soon-to-be former coaches?
Some '02 teams that are '03 right now (not saying your team), will have 2003 Year Pure players.
Will they be allowed to play in the '02 AP tournament also?

Yes we would ask for a release for May tournaments. Yes, pure 03 players are allowed to play up. Another option would be the DTS D1 03 AP team.

No practice 5/19. Harold Patterson Soccer fields are closed.

Open practice has been cancelled for Tuesday 5/31. Lots of rain in the area and more in the forecast. The next practice is planned for Thursday 6/2.

PRACTICE LOCATION CHANGE: from now until the end of June practices will be held at Harold Patterson on field A instead of F.
