Two 02/03 Dallas Texan (NFW) Classic D2 teams with openings.

Due to increased interest in the Keller/Southlake area there will be two Classic D2 Dallas Texan teams. Yes, there is still an opportunity for your son to come out and compete for a spot on one of these two teams.

We have two Classic League D2 U15 byes for the 2016/17 soccer year. We have a great group of players, parents and coach. We are just waiting for you and your son to make it complete. We still searching for 02/03 boys in the Fort Worth/Mid-Cities area who want to join a local competitive team.

When: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays 6:30pm-8:30pm

So to make sure I am reading this correctly as I have an 03B, you're looking to make 2 teams, both playing in 02AP with 03's and 02's? If so, the obvious question is why not do AP02 and AP03 instead of 2 teams made up of 03's playing up?
We are in the Keller area so your insight is appreciated.

Several reasons. First many of the 03 players who were on team prior to rules change want to play with core they have played with for years and do not mind playing up. Secondly, not sure would have had enough 03 to form a team. Lastly, the bye we had opportunity to grab for new team was for 02 and did not have equivalent in 03. Hope this helps.

The two teams are shaping up nicely. There are still a few spots available though. Looking for a couple more defenders and midfielders to solidify the roster. Goalie competition is still not settled either.
