SMU Winter ID Camp

The SMU Men's Soccer Program will be hosting their second annual Winter ID Camp Saturday, January 21 and Sunday, January 22. The camp is exclusively for high school Juniors and Seniors as well as potential Junior College transfers.

We’re proud to announce that we will have three players on our roster in 2017 that came DIRECTLY from our 2016 Winter ID Camp so you can certainly see that this camp is a legitimate opportunity for players to showcase their talent.

We’ll start the camp by running players through a training session we take our own players through on a daily basis. These sessions will be run by SMU coaches giving you an opportunity to receive first-hand coaching and interaction with all our staff.

Following the training session, players will have multiple opportunities both days to play both small-sided (6v6) and full-sided games. We’ll be inviting other coaches from around the region from multiple levels (NCAA I, II, and III) in order to maximize your exposure to colleges during your time on campus.

Enrollment will be limited to just 60 field players and specific goalkeeper training will be offered to just eight goalkeepers during the camp. These small numbers allow us to give every player ample attention. As of December 15th, two weeks into registration, their are 35 field player spots remaining and just four goalkeeper spots remaining.

Last year, our camp sold out in just over 30 days. As a result, we encourage you to enroll as early as possible. Once the field player limit is reached, a wait-list will be formed as well.

The SMU Men's Soccer Winter ID Camp is down to the final 15 field player spots and 3 goalkeeper spots. We expect these spots to be filled within the next few days.

We currently have players committed to camp from the following states: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Colorado, Kansas, Illinois, Tennessee, Georgia, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, California, Virginia, and Florida.
