BB is saying he thought Big Brandon was going to Cal Poly. Was there a last minute change or is that a typo?

Congratulations to all who signed to continue playing in college. I like mine being close so I can still live vicariously through him but huge props to those leaving the nest with distance.

12:00 p.m. - It's mostly been quiet from UCLA in the lead up to Signing Day, the men's coach staff has been hard at work compiling its class of 2017. Along with midfielder Andrew Paoli (San Jose Earthquakes), FC Dallas CB Brandon Terwege has signed with UCLA. Goalkeeper Cameron Douglas is graduating early to enroll there in the fall, while Wake Forest outside back Alex Knox is transferring to the Bruins. Club standouts Eric and Milan Iloski are expected to be part of the class of 2017 as well, and play with their older brother Brian this fall. The team is also working on adding 2-3 internationals to the mix later in the year.

Interesting from FC Dallas link that Vega is not on the announcement list. Is he the next homegrown signing?

He backed out on Clemson and signed a professional contract with the San Antonio Scorpions

It's not a typo. Brandon had committed to Cal Poly, changed to UCLA last minute.
On a tweet dated January 31 he wrote: "some life decisions are really tough. thank you to all 4 understanding. More 2 come regarding the next chapter of my life 2 more #signing day"

The last conversation I had with his dad, there was talk about him going pro in Germany. Glad he made a choice to continue with his college degree.

I thought there were more Academy players who signed. Another Tulsa and Villanova player.

Irish head coach Bobby Clark announced defender Mitch MacDonald (Troy, Michigan), midfielder Aiden McFadden (West Chester, Pennsylvania), goalkeeper Keagan McLaughlin (Zanesville, Ohio), midfielder Townsend Meyer (San Diego, California), forward Simon Roennecke (Pleasant Ridge, Michigan) and forward/midfielder Paul Rothrock (Seattle, Washington), as the newest men's soccer members of the Notre Dame Class of 2021. All six players will be eligible to officially join the Irish for the 2017 season.

I don't have all the names. The DT don't publish a list of their committed players. I looked through their tweets and TopDrawer.
