You were very close (Ayses Gold seems to have been a last minute add, but they didn't really make any noise).
DTR 3-0-1 (3-3 draw with Allegiance)
Allegiance 2-0-2 (draws to both DTR and LP Owen)
LP Owen 2-1-1 (Loses to DTR, but draws against Allegiance)
Ayses 1-3 (Beat only FCD ETX)
FCD ETX 0-4 (just as predicted, not a single win)

DTR remained strong and fought off the late pressure from Allegiance to Hodor a draw. Allegiance seems to get better each showing against top tier competition. Although, their draw against LP Owen shows some inconsistency, as them allowing a 4-4 draw doesn't speak well of them defensively. LP Owen beat the teams they were surpose to beat I guess. Kudos to them in that 4-4 draw agains Allegiance. Ayses and FCD ETX seem to have both taken steps backward with this showing to me. FCD ETX were brutalized and run completely of the pitch. (losing 14-0 to LP Owen, and 14-1 to DTR)...Based upon this showing, FCD ETX is gonna have  very long season in D1 Classic...smh

In looking closer at the teams, the FCD ETX team in that tournament was not the same one from D1. Different coach's name and given the result, I'm sure it is not the same. As for AYSES, it also doesn't appear to be the same team as the one in D1. The AYSES from this tournament has 08 listed in its name.

Facts
The Ayses team is clearly listed as an '08. Ever heard of playing up? Also, yes FCD ETX has a 2nd team. They have for a long time...distinguished by a different coach. Bernard coaches the team that qualified D1. Team 2 is coached by Garcia...didn't attempt to qualify for Classic though they have a fairly lengthy history on GotSoccer and YSR. Garcia played in Summer Splash and performed exactly as expected.

It's pretty easy to look at the splash tournament  and click on the team got soccer links and see their previous games to find facts that actually matter. The ETX team that got crushed didn't play in the QT and played bronze in King Tut therefore not the ETX team that played platinum in KT and is D1 QT

I have a couple of friends on the 08 Ayses team. That's definitely who played in the tournament...it was not the 07 D1 team. Completely different team all together....

Dallas Texans Red - Struggled against Allegiance, scored a "buzzer beater" goal to tie the game. Dominated the rest.

Allegiance - Dominated every team with possession. Defense is no bueno.

LP - Gave up a 4-1 half time lead against allegiance. Struggled against Texans Red.

FC Dallas ETX - Not their "1st team."

AYSES 08s - good 08 team.

So...basically this tell us absolutely nothing about Classic league play coming up other than these teams all who we thought they were prior to this last weekend...

I disagree, I think some of these results are telling if you dig a little deeper. I didn't see any of the games so I can't comment about specifics, but the big picture continues to become more clear.

1. Texans Red historically dominates possession oriented teams. They are tested by teams that also play direct but are more athletic (FCD Academy, Rebels). But edge out wins against advanced possession teams (Texans Dallas and Rush). Allegiance seems to match up better against them which certainly bucks the trend.

2. LP Owen continues to prove naysayers wrong. The vast majority (including myself) thought Allegiance would beat them convincingly.

3. When you add the Kennington win last weekend v McKinney in the Solar Derby to this weekends' results, its becoming more apparent that any gap in the top 10 is smaller than previously thought.

SocceroPath

I watched DT Red, LP and Allegiance play against each other.

Allegiance dominated both games. Should have won both games, but their defense is not the same since they moved the big kid to the middle. They'll have you chasing the ball all over if you let them connect the first pass from the goal kick, but won't do much good when they have to defend. None the less, probably the most advanced possession team in the area.

Texans Red walked all over LP. Could have done better against Allegiance but they ended up kicking the ball more than the usual.

LP - Struggled on both games. Went up 4-1 at half time against Allegiance, playing without their coach. But never had a chance on the second half, another 5 minutes they would have lost. I'm surprised at how inconsistent they've become.

the score to this game does not do LP justice, and no DTR did not walk all over LP. This game could have easily been 4-4. It was a lot closer that the score shows. The refs were good all weekend, but missed a clear handball in the DTR box coming in to the second half, that pk changes the game. AR raised the flag with uncertainty, so center waives it down.
