CL D1 last Saturday 10.14.17
Can anyone confirm or deny an incident that caused what was a 1-1 draw between Dallas Kicks (Herrera) and FC Dallas (Pino) to become a 1-0 win for the Kicks?

I am not, but I am in the league where those two points may matter come the end of the season.

Coach was kicked out and didn't want to leave. So they disbanded the game.

Re: CL D1 last Saturday 10.14.17
That is what I heard as well. It is utterly disgusting that a manager would behave in such a way to not only get red carded BUT to also cause his team to forfeit what was a DRAW. I hope that the powers of the CL drop the hammer on this guy as he has now affected the integrity of the table with that two-point swing. Not that stupidity is ever acceptable but save that nonsense when your team is already giving up the three points.

DON'T BE SURPRISED
Don't be srprised- COACH PINO is a real piece of work- he is known to pull all types of nonsense to try to get an edge. Is it an unfair assessment to say that it translates to his players? Yet, parents line up to pay the hefty club fees? Is this the FCD way??

Not the first time, probably not the last. Surprised this man is still employed knowing all the BS he pulls and the non stop yelling at refs.

Re: CL D1 last Saturday 10.14.17
so let me first say I really don't know much about how CL works, my son is fairly new to it all. But to thicken the plot with this Pino incident apparently after the Fall break (first 9 games) the top two teams get an auto bid to Dallas Cup. As it stands now
1) FCD Youth Premier - 16 Pts
2) FC Premier - 16 Pts
3) Dallas Kicks - 15 Pts
Games Remaining
FCD Premier: FCD - Pino and FC Premier
FC Premier: Ayses and FCD Premier
Dallas Kicks: Dallas Texans-Partian and Dallas Texans - Rangel
Those two GIFTED points could very well put Dallas Kicks in the Dallas Cup and leave the loser between FCD Premier and FC Premier left out.
BTW - This is by no means meant to offend the people from Dallas Kicks, they were not the ones to do anything to negatively affect the outcome of this game. This coach on the otherhand...

Re: CL D1 last Saturday 10.14.17
Just a word of warning...if standings are close at the end of the year, a forfeit can affect more than the one game...reference the discussion last year in the 01 group regarding promotion from D2 into D1...
ALL the games played by the forfeited team can become 1-0 scores even after the season (at least as far as promotion/relegation is concerned).

Re: CL D1 last Saturday 10.14.17
Last year in the 01s there were two teams tied in points at the end of the year in D2. 2nd and 3rd place. One game was a forfeit for the 3rd place team. CL went back retroactively and changed all scores of the games involving the team that forfeited the ONE game to 1-0 scores All four games involving those three teams and it reversed the order so that 3rd place rose to second place and 2nd place dropped to 3rd on the new goal differential...thus promotion for one not the other. This happened 10 days after the season ended if I remember correctly. I may have time to dig up the conversation for you tomorrow. The team that wound up 3rd after the fact thought they had achieved promotion because the final standings reflected it for approximately 10 days. Everyone could see what the points and goal differentials were going into the last weekend of games per the standings on CL website...and for over a week after the final game had been played. All I am saying is that when points are super tight for promotion and relegation A forfeit can affect more than one game per CL bylaws.
Just be careful.
I think I am doing this right...here is the link to the discussion:
