Iber Cup

Have heard that his tourney will be bigger this year than last. Know that Texans are putting two pre DA teams in, anyone else doing same thing? Last year the PST team was the class of the tournament, going further than any other American team. Texans should have a really strong squad again.

Should be a good weekend of soccer with Dallas Cup, Iber Cup, and Dallas Womens Cup.

I have it on good authority (the rumor mill) that at least 1 of the top Texans teams is entering with their current roster...Pre-DA designation typically means a pooling of the top players in the club. Pretty sure Solar is doing that. Haven't heard anything from FCD.

Not sure I agree with PST being class of the tourney as Elite, McKinney, and TXN Leite all had better group rounds. Both McKinney and PST got knocked out at the same stage (semifinals).

Any other factually stated opinions you want me to debunk?

Oh, my bad. Who was ultimately invited to travel to Europe? Was it Elite, McKinney, or TXN Leite? Or was it PST?

I guess if winning group stages is your thing, congrats?

PST lost to Volkan in IberCup, so it couldn’t be that great of a showing!

I would expect Texans to put their top 2 teams in, as is. I would expect Solar to try to put 2 teams in with some sort of combined rosters from their top 3-4 teams. Maybe put McKinney in and a combined roster second team.
I wouldn't be surprised if FCD abstains, as usual, from a Texans Tourney.

Solar has pooled their players and will form 2 pre-DA teams for IberCup.  Very similar to what they did last year for the 06s.  They have the final pool of players, they haven't designated who is on what team just yet.
