That time of the year: Looking for new team/coach
So it is getting close to that time of the year when parents and players are looking for a new team or coach. Whether it is because the team did not have a good season or you did not like the coach where do you go next?
For the younger players you continue to find the right team/coach that will "develop" your BB.
However for the older players looking to be seen by college coaches, they are running out of time. Do you try again for the top D1/D2 teams of Classic?? Or do you find a team that strictly does "College Cups/tournaments"?
If you are not winning in Classic league, the local pinnacle of youth soccer, what is the point of continuing to grind it out for a Classic League Trophy?
Just because your BB is not an DA player does not necessarily mean he cannot play college soccer if that is his aspiration. Granted very few have the talent to be taken by a college D1 program but there are plenty of programs out there from D1-D3, NAIA and junior colleges.
So the question is where do you look? Are there any local clubs/programs out there that just play college cups?
