All 96B teams accepting byes?
Although I've read about several 96B teams that might have trouble bringing back the core of their team, it appears that all teams with a bye invite will be able to field something this fall to satisfy CL. The couple of teams I've heard rumors about possibly not coming back seem (to me) to be gearing their team up for the fall. So signing day is a week away. Anybody heard of any teams that will not come back?

I would like to hear chatter on the 96's too! Looks like all of the 10 Division I teams lost and gained players within the division...like shuffling cards. Cant wait until July 1st to see what happens.

Re: All 96B teams accepting byes?
Word around is that all the teams in Dallas Made including Titans (happy to see them stay!) What is the word in the opposite side of Dallas County. SR, Tejanos and DTRS. We lost Key players but we will be good to go this season but we also got some good additions to our team, we should remain a top contender for the hot spot in D1. It remains to be seen the amount of games we will play including PL and CL. Just a quick question for soccer8, if the reports r true that you guys really had a good showing and r stacked as they say you guys r? why r you guys still posting for players needed? I know sometimes you have kids that pull out last minute? is this the case w u guys or did you just pick up quality and not quantity. We know WM just doesn't pick up kids for a check, his intentions are different than most of the other coaches. Either way good luck in the upcoming season, my eldest son played for WM and we know what he can do; if you stick with him through the tough times he will make your kid a better player. That is why we never left our current coach even though we lost most of our top players!!

Re: All 96B teams accepting byes?
The new kids did indeed turn in contracts last night with the addition of a second solid keeper. The roster is in good shape, but with a roster size of 18 this year there is room for 1 or 2 more good players. Tejanos will be fine and the feeling is the team will play better team ball next season. I did hear that TXNS Red did not have the kids coming to open practices that you would expect and had several openings left going into signing day. It will be interesting to see who ends up there. I hear of lots of changes at SR too.

The Titans may have "made", but did they get their 75% returnees to keep their D1 bye?rcamber09 wrote:Word around is that all the teams in Dallas Made including Titans (happy to see them stay!)

Re: All 96B teams accepting byes?
So after several confirmations that the D1 Titans made their 75%, I would guess this also means that Alliance FC won't be getting a D2 bye playing for FCD? Unless FCD has some other opening I'm unaware of?
Good luck Titans with that D1 spot.

You must be rolling incognito b/c I don't remember arguing with the likes of you. It's been a while though, lots of margaritas since the ol' TM.
BTW - I don't discriminate against any clubs... just the one you're associated with!
