Does anyone know if the brackets and seedings for academy done randomly, or are they suppose to be done based on available team records / information? Brackets 1 & 3 seem to be loaded while bracket 2 is weak.

I have no idea how they came to these brackets... I would guess that they have used whatever team w/l records are available but who knows what other mojo they use to figure these brackets out...

Also does anyone know anything about this Boca Jrs team? I thought they moved to the Texas Toros or something like that?

Last I read, the Boca Jr.'s Gold team had moved with their coach to for the Toro's club.... So I'm not sure who this team will be...

Regardless, Bandits is the team to beat in this tournament hands down.
Does anyone know who won the at the Prime Time Sportz Fall Invitational this past weekend?? The website is only showing the pool game results, but no winners for the quarterfinal games between Andromeda 00 vs. Texas Toros 00 Gold and Dallas Texans White 00 vs. Charging Rhinos ??
Texas Toros is showing as having lost to Charging Rhinos..... ouch!!! I thought of them as a top 10 team before that! Maybe they didn't take all of their players from Boca Jr's....

Second hand information here but I heard that the Rhino's was made up of mostly DT boys... Can't always judge a book by its cover... or name...lol

I did get to see the Toro's play on Saturday and I had forgotten that they were the Boca Jr.'s '00 Gold team... It didn't dawn on me who they were until I read the post above... They weren't the Boca Jr.'s I remember from the Spring season though...

Hmm.... the schedules have been pulled down and the website is saying they still need one more U10 team.... I wonder who pulled out?

Before it got taken down it showed Solar Gold- Jepson taking the place of the Tyler 01 team in bracket 2.

I saw the Bandits - Wizards quarter final game and it was a very good one. Bandits is far superior in speed and technique, but Wizards played very physical and made a game out of it.
If it wasn't for both of them being independent (and the Solar bias in this tournament) they should have been playing each other in the finals.

Agree. It looks like the bandits had to play the wizards twice, 4-0 and 3-1. Tough to beat a good physical type team in a span of two days. The solar red team that they played in the finals did not really have a close game the entire tournament

Bandits beat everyone 4-0. So they really didn't have a close game the entire tournament until it got to the semis, Solar Red also had a close semi. Bandits and Solar Red were the best two teams in the tournament. I watch both the Solar Red team and the Wizards team play a couple of games and IMO the SR team would have beaten the Wizards team as well.

The semi was 0-0 with less than 5 minutes remaining. That's pretty close.

Solar Red vs ASG was 0 - 0 at the end of regulation - the goals scored were in extra time in the 27 and 29 minute of the 2nd half. I would say it was pretty close and tightly contested.

The semi’s to me included 4 of the top 6 teams out there. Here’s how I have them going into the SDL season (3 & 4 can be interchanged):

4. Solar Red

5. FCD (Snell)

6. ASG Gold North

7. Texas Toros

8. FC Southlake

9. DT (Densk)

The only ones I don’t see in the first week’s SDL schedule playing are Texas Toros, FC Southlake, FCD (Figo). Hopefully the SDL schedulers will grace us with some good match ups.

I thought Snell gave up all his '00 boys teams... Is that not the case?

That's correct, Clarke is the new coach, but the team is still showing as FCD Snell.
