D2 Game between Ayses and Eagles 10/20
Cheers to both teams for an outstanding game between two quality teams. I was so impressed with how well both teams came prepared and ready to play. Each team knew that it was going to be a game that makes a difference. Congrats to both teams for a job well done. Hats off to you all. Ayses you have amazing talent on your team and lots of speed. I know you are very proud of your boys just like I'm proud of ours. Both teams are winners in my book.
Jeers to the parents who thought it was a good idea to taunt and tease our players. I would just like to say that these boys are playing with their hearts and leaving everything on the field. Taunting or talking to the boys as they play a game is unacceptable in my book. What is acceptable is cheering for BOTH teams when great plays are made.
Just a friendly reminder that adults do make a difference in the lives of our children and our words and choices we make play a large part on what kind of difference we make. As I tell my children every single day - make good choices, make good grades and make someones day along the way. If you have done those things, then you have had a great day. Same goes for us adults. Before opening your mouth, think about the lasting impression you will make. was it a good choice? would you get a good grade? and did you make someones day?

Agree with the sentiment and I get equally bothered by parents that make comments to opposing players. I would not worry too much about the effect on players this age. When it happens to my 96s games his converstion to me about it usually starts with " did you hear that jerk..." Most of them take a get a life attitude toward it.

The American Eagles played a great game. They worked really hard and played well together. They are definitely going to D1 if they continue to play at that level.Goal4Momma wrote:Cheers to both teams for an outstanding game between two quality teams.
