Should the FC Dallas "PREMIER" 02 name be solely given to FC Dallas Goncalves? FCDallas Goncalves 7 FCDallas Snell 1...Any other scores? cheers

nope whats going to happen whether the parents like it or not there WILL be a tryout for the top FCD team going into select and if Goncalves gets it then so be it but they will pull the best players and "move" the other players to other FCD teams bom

That is an interesting theory. So are you saying that some of the boys on Goncalves right now will be removed from that team by FCD to make room for the better players in the club? Goncalves does not get to decide himself who he will keep? So it appears some of the FCD Snell players may acutally take the spots of some of the FCD Goncavles players, is that correct?

I have no idea but just going off of OMega STriker's post, although he does not state who it will be either. The main question is how FCD will form its 02 teams.

Will they simply take all the players from Goncalves and Snell and pool them togehter for tryouts and then split them into completely new teams based on ability? So the teams currently playing in Primetime will not exists in these forms and the kids on these teams could find themselves on a new team with a new coach come select? That does not sound very fair to me, as some of the kids working away on Goncalves may find themselves on a lower tiered team in select.

Just wondering how it works.

I always thought who ever finished on top at end of season before QT into Classic gets the name “Premier” for FCDallas. I don’t think the club moves kids around that would be up to the parents. I don’t think coach G would let any players leave.

I agree with you and think that is the way it should work. I was just going off of Omega Striker's comments as I have not heard what he/she is talking about. That would not be good for morale if they start moving kids around near the QT time.

I heard Coach J. Pino is going to take over Snells team. I could be wrong but he has been at both games of Snell vs Goncalves.

okay Snell will not take them into CL, he never does. The question is who will be the premier coach? If it is coach G then he will have players moved into his squad and in that case it is in the best interest of some of the kids to be moved. Does the kid no good to face a situation where he will see limited playtime. If pino takes the premier team the Coach G may lose a player or 2. It is not about the teams, it's about the players and player pool. FCD will try and make the best grouping they can from their player pool. You may see it as Snell vs G vs whoever. They see it as an overall player pool

I see what you are saying and if you are right, I think that is a little poor for the kids currently on Goncavles that have worked to make that into a great team. IT seems that come select, their team could be broken up and they start all over. (IF their best players, like the new forward, are moved to Pino, if he gets the PRemiere team) IF Goncalves gets the PRemiere team, it seems some of the bottom half of the FCD Goncavles roster should be looking behind them and they may find themselves off the FCD Goncalves team.

I see what you are saying about it being about the player, but I do not like the way this may effect some kids, (some that I know).

Wonder if the same thing will happen with the Dallas Texans with the DT Thornber team and DTS? Will they take the best players off those two teams and make a top team?

Just kidding, I know there is no breaking up DTS, and they seem to be competing within there club with DT Thornber and not making one team.
