Not so much good as more like "not so bad as" summer.
This is the first year we didnt loose a third of our starters. We lost 1 starter and actually picked up 2 strong players so we are better off than last year. I understand other teams weren't as lucky as us, and it shows. I can sympathize because that is what happened to us last year when we lost 4 starters. Bad thing was three of then went to other teams in our division!
The 2 teams that lost several of their starters lost them to CL teams or other sports so I guess it isnt as bad as seeing your players on the other side of the ball. But it still hurts.
But after watching and playing those teams that lost players, they are still very competitive and have a very good chance of finishing in the top 4 or so. Since Arlington rules state that the spring there will be 2 divisions of 8, then there is always a possibility that any team in the top 8 could end up in the top 2 spots come year end.
I'm just excited that there are so many talented teams this year in Arlington. It only helps to strengthen our team when we have to play at the top of our game week in and week out.
