FCDY was up 5-0 at halftime after the best half of soccer I have seen anyone play at this age group.......FCDY just played excellent soccer and beat us up and down the field in the first half. The SR boys played played better in the second half and to their credit never gave up even after being down.

It was a great game, very close, but both teams missed a lot of opportunities. Some of the FCDY 96 parents were next to me and they were impressed by the level of play, they kept commenting that it was a good game.True10 wrote:Darn . We gave points away. Sorry I missed this one (wife and I swapped kiddos last night...divide and conquer, y'know?)...Heard there were several missed by both teams, but all I spoke to said it was a great game. Blue is a salty squad and always play their best against us....sounds like last night was no exception....Wished I was there, but then I would have missed a Baskin Robbins moment with my 9 year old. :-)Tequilapark wrote:It was a great game, very close, but both teams missed a lot of opportunities. Yea, I saw the game decked out in white. Iowa is public enemy #1 now. I hope your bb is OK. Tell CO to take it easy on my bb, i heard bragging rights were in effect after the game, so the school day might be rough.
Once again you show your are one the class acts here. Family first, you da man.
Good luck the rest of the season.

two years in a row....gotta be tough on ya pal. Coop is fine (he had cramps in both calves), but walking a little gingerly this morning at 5:50am (which is a tie in to the other posts about middle school sports). :-) Good luck to you guys as well.
