Copa ESPN 2013!!!

Dear Managers & Coaches,

It is that time of the year again! ESPN Dallas is proud to announce the 5th Annual North Texas Chevy Dealers Copa ESPN 2013 ! The hunt begins for the teams who will participate and be a part of the biggest youth tournament in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Area. With it being the 5th year we are excited to include 5 boy categories (U8,U10,U12,U14,U16) and for the first time 2 all NEW girl categories (U12,U14). The tournament will be held at the Mcinnish Soccer Complex in Carrollton, TX on April 19th - 21st! In addition, I would like to introduce to you our new Tournament Director; Jesse McNeil III. He is an experienced professional with a great background. The U14 Boys Champions will once again have the opportunity to go to Walt Disney World in Orlando to compete in the Disney Cup International*. Trip will include tournament fee, hotel accommodations and tickets to Walt Disney World Theme Parks. The U15 team that makes it the farthest or wins the U16 category will win a spot in The Bobby Rhine Invitational. Agreed, it has the best festive atmosphere of all local tournaments.

Awesome prize for the U14 champion. Airfare, Hotel, and a 4 day pass to the WDW parks is included. You have to pay for your food, but where else can the boys go play a soccer tournament, go to WDW, all transportation included for maybe $200 to $250 in food per person for 7 or 8 days.

Need to read the fine print. Transportation not included.. Still a good prize.

ESPN can afford it. The $16 per person per day they got last week at the ESPN complex for the Disney Showcase games is the most family unfriendly BS I have seen. Day one; mom, dad,sister, 3 brothers, grandma, and one girlfriend. Day two same minus sis and grandma. $224 to watch 2 youth soccer games. And no the experience was not priceless. Nice fields ,good amount of college coaches, same crap reffing you get at any other tournament.

We were given 6 or 8 passes last year per day so that covered all but one or two parents. $16 is pretty dang steep per day.

Boys had a blast and got to take their pic with Soccer Mickey at the end.

This year the winning U14B team will be responisble for trip and meals. Everything else like Hotel, tournament fee, transportation from airport to hotel and from hotel to complex, passes to theme parks and passes to Opening Ceremony of the Disney Cup International will be provided.
