All I know is that another two tournaments and another two predicted winners by me. I think maybe I should think about opening up a psychic line. Wink

Are you really still talking? You added two of the top U9 boys players as guest players this weekend. There is nothing in the rules to say you can't but when you come in the 04 forum and say how great your team is and how you deserve to be in the Gold division of EAL, but then the first chance to compete and back up your words your team signals to all of us that you can't compete and therefore have to add top U9 players to compete you are sending a signal to all of us here you are sell-outs and can't handle the competition without help.

I'm sure you are a great 05 team, but you dont belong with the big boys in 04. You dont see parents from the top 04 teams on the 03 forum telling them how great their team is and challenging them do you? You dont see the top 03 parents going onto the 02 forum and calling them out do you? NO!!!

So go back to the line where they handed out class and humbleness and say you were absent that day when those were given out and you need some. Then go back to your 05 forum and beat your chest so you can feel better about your life, your kid and your lack of manhood. Us ladies know when a guy acts like you do you have a small lil hot dog. 4tluv. You really like to ramble. I said on this thread that we are better off playing in eal silver. I think we can compete with bottom half of gold eal but I am not saying we are better than anyone. Again as Shasta has pointed out to you and others, we r only trying to help our boys improve by playing the best competition. Why don't you come and watch is this spring, then you might be more knowledgeable about our team

Suki, you're taking so much heat becasue you are implying the team is something other than what it is. I asked how many are true '05's and you indicated most were true 05's with only a few '04s. Another parent confirmed half your team are '04s. That becomes a credibility issue.

btw- I'm not attacking you, just pointing out that your arguement is not sustainable. Love your team, the parents and the bbs. Very Happy

Can't somebody talk about the good things they did see at the Primetime tournament. Really I don't think we need to read anymore from or about Suki because after this weekend we know the truth. Lets start talking about the great games that were played by those bb's.

Agreed. What we did see was a great group of 04 ( O-FOUR) teams that were all very competitive. We saw a great keeper on the LP Rase team, a strong Odyssey team with perhaps one of the fastest players in the league and a few real star players, a great Farley team with a really big kid, and a Solar Partain team that can hang with anyone and plays a very strong, aggressive style of soccer. The four teams in the semifinals were all very good.

Would be nice to see DT Pomykal and SR play some of these teams.

The weather was nice and the concession stands had snowcones, so that is a plus. cheers

On the soccer front, I thought the teams did well for coming out of the winter break. I think this is the best year for tournaments at McCinnish and the small 9v9 format for the 04s. The kids were forced to try and keep possession of the ball and play it on the ground with small, sharp passes. The long balls don't work very well because they roll off the field. The kids are getting bigger and faster so the space is less on the small fields and they have to be more precise. The goalie to goalie punt did not help any team much so they had to play it shorter and try to keep the ball. Additionally, there was always someone to pressure the ball so the kids had to make fast decisions. The games were a lot of fun to watch and the kids are getting better.

I continue to assert that there is a lot of parity in the 04 group and we will see it all season.

As for the Suki debate, I saw them play on Sunday afternoon and I have seen of there kids play before. They are a good group of players and they did try to play a short passing game and it was entertaining. As for trying to play against the top 04 teams, that may be a tough job. The sheer size of some of the 04s would be hard to handle, but no harm trying. For what its worth, I think this is true of any age group and some of the 03s looked like teenagers compared to my 04 and he is not tiny.

Good weekend and the season can't here fast enough.

The best keeper I have seen in this age group is Farley's. I remember reading here he no longer is with that team.

Re: DT Pomykal/SR comment, DT Pomykal played most of these teams in EAL very recently and SR does its own thing always playing up.

The LP keeper looked like the best one out there this weekend. Odyssey is just as good as DT/SR in the 04 group and LP and Farley are not far behind.

No. Giving a compliment to the good play I saw this weekend. There were also good players on the other teams.

I don't like talking about specific players, but since it has been brought up....
I can confirm Firewater's assessment. Amazing weekend for that young kid.
