99 Roster change

So, we are halfway through the season; I heard clubs can tweak their roster mid-season within the clubs (is that true?). Do you think it is going to happen to your team (Texan, solar, FCD, comets)? I am especially curious to know about FCdallas with those awesome 3 teams ranked 16, 18, 19...(but 1st and 7th in the 2nd division). How about the independent teams. Can they recruit mid season ?Has anybody tried to get a release from its coach to go play somewhere else ?

i tried to get out but what are the chances of my bb getting on the a team or club that he wants to play now? not really familiar with the process?

Depends on how good he is. Everyone has room for Pele jr. As far as the release goes it depends on the club and coach. If you have a good reason N texas will give you one. Little johnny isn't winning isn't a good reason FYI

Also keep in mind that getting a release doesn't necessarily excuse you from your contract dues...most clubs require that you fulfill your financial commitment whether you stay for the entire soccer year or not...

but if after I get my rel paid club dues...talking a new club/team...what are the chances w/NTSA getting me in that team or ok for my bb to play for that team/club? do they have the rt to say NO or what follows after getting a rel?

I think a problem you may have is a lot of teams are already carrying a full roster

Actually I was mostly interested with internal roster change among the big clubs...I know it may be possible but it is far stretched to try moving a kid from one club to the next. Also I am not sure what type of message you would send to your kid by doing that...

if your bb sees that your coach is not in must of the games & practices what message is that from coach to bb...? it's not about me winning its about bb wanting to play I'm not looking for a winning team...

You can always ask for a release and see what the coach says. He can say no and if that is the case you can present your case for being released. Obviously the sooner you start looking the better.

I have heard there will be lots of changes within clubs between 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams.

yes that's correct ODP works by calendar year. The current session is for the year 98 grouping some kids from the 99 and 98 soccer years.

Almost correct. All 98s can try out this year, and a few 99s can, with coach referral. The next tryout is Dec. 6th, but you need to register in advance. Try it, it's fun and the boys really enjoy it.

Not sure about ODP. I know the clubs don't lie it and the academy league kills it at an older age but bb had fun. A nice practice with many of the good kids he plays against. He's a 99 year and seems like most of the players were from the same league just 98 birth year.
If he is really good, my guess is that you already know who he is. The good kids aren't hard to spot.

Do a little research and get some professional opinions would ya. Sour grapes, please tell me why you would think that. That's what I thought, you are completely clueless on both accounts.

Does having watched a regional camp count as research? An amazing experience for any player. The program is not organized but the camp is a unique, fun and challenging opportunity. Four days of playing with and against the top players in the southeast. Yes,yes,yes I know alot of the best players opt for academy and skip ODP but the talent level is still amazing.
So if I can't throw an unqualified opinion out there then how but you enlighten me with your "research" that determined it is a joke.

Don't get caught up in the details. I'm not talking about the practice/tryouts, I'm referring to the program. And is your idea of an unqualified opinion simply stating that I am sour grapes over ODP?
