Lots of movement going on already in the 03's players/teams

You called it Omega, the empire dreams of a time when they take spots 1,2, and 3 in classic (unless that darn FCD team keeps getting in the way) but will be happy with a 1,3 and 4 finish.

Team Castro will plow through PA/DA and the rest of us will maintain a top 5 spot in Classic Until that Glorious day when the Castro teams brings the National Championship back to the Texans.

Like I said before....The Texans are not asking for too much from this team.

how will they win a national championship if they are playing PA or DA? So next year they will be PA right? PA teams do not play state cup and then regionals.

U12 teams do not advance to USYS regionals from State Cup

okay so 13 you advance. Thats still PA so the point is valid. 14 is nationals? Also DA age and again no nationals

US Club Soccer National Premier League (PA) has Nationals, US Soccer Development Academy (DA) has Nationals and US Youth Soccer has Nationals.

The empire wants to win the major titles going forward and Castro is a more likely competitor for the PA and DA leagues.

so going forward.... is it not going to be prestigous to have the best DA program?

Well the problem there is by DA they have to leave Castro and go to hassan. Then it's time to just boot it baby. Talent has never been a problem at Texans

you can call it whatever you like but it's still a Texas dinosaur that time has past by. But to be fair HN is not the only relic still roaming the sideline. Brilliant business and club building but ego is too big to step aside and let someone else do the coaching.

COULD BE... and i don't know enough to "pile on" or defend but i did see a great game in u13 PA wednesday where DT defeated FCD 3-0 with two great headers. of course those headers came from excellent crosses after a number a connected passes and not "boot ball". i think you train as best you can and then game plan for opponent. if opponent is to aggressive; over the top you go. if they "park the bus" you probably connect many more passes

Well I saw HN completely dismantle solar. I also so some amazing, creative players completely stifled by outdated tactics but hey it won. Here is how it will go. An amazing and creative castro team will one day hit HN and he will stop all that movement, creativity, expressive play and teach them to minimize risk, and don't think or express but execute. Just so we are clear HN has been nothing but super nice to my kid and I don't hate the guy or single him out as the only one. There are alot of coaches here in NTX that have been doing the same thing forever. While soccer (particuarly in America) has advanced, they have not. Their development models, tactics, and understanding of the game has stayed the same. Simply at some point they will have to step down from castro to HN not a step up from Castro. HN greatest gift to the texans would be to run the club and accept when "maybe I can just hire someone to coach these top teams" instead of I have to have my stamp on everything high profile (make texans the greatest club instead of HN the greatest coach)

You must have been dreaming as there is not a single youth team in Texas that plays with passing. That is unheard of.  You sure medications were not involved here?

i don't know enough to debate. assuming you are correct, it is still the parents job to provide the opportunity for their child. no coach can un-teach perfection. "wall and a ball"!!! if a child is brilliant technically he has a chance, regardless of the coach. if child doesn't have technical brilliance, then the Pele can't help him out

but a coach certianly can beat it out of them. America doesn't produce top talent because the coaches kill it before it flourishes and this IS NOT HN fault. I for one hope when he takes that team he allows them to keep playing the way they do. If Castro can have an impact on the Texan empire it will only be a good thing for NTX soccer
