00 - Warm Up Tournaments For League Play

I thought that now that we have all signed and have that brief time before we start league I would ask what tournaments are the various teams doing as a warm-up for league. Given a mid August expected start the traditional PLD will technically be during the fall season this year.

Anyone?

I thought about that but with league starting mid August I put it in the same category as the PLD. For the younger age groups definitely though.

Our D1 team may be trying to orchestrate a day of friendlies with 2-3 other '00B teams Aug. 2 and/or Aug 9. Complete with certified refs. A nice, low-cost option given that our pre-season tournament options are limited. If your team is interested, have coach or manager PM me for more info.

So I have 3 formal tournaments now (Sorry forgot to originally list TSC) and an organized friendly event (very cool). This said are there any 00 teams competing in these? Musaisaya - I know you mention in another thread that you will release post close of registration. Can you at least say how many 00 teams are currently scheduled / expected to confirm?
