lmao FACTS do not equate to whining. congrates to this team for having enough talent to overcome the 98 birth year boys they faced. i love this argument (in case you can't tell)

Re: Andromeda FC U15 Pre-Academy
First off, congratulations to Andromeda for winning the tourney.
3 of the 4 semifinalists in U16 age group were pre-academy teams and there were only 3 pre-academy teams among the entries. The other semifinalist is at the top of the table in Classic league. I would hesitate to make any rash judgments since the Sunday games were reduced to 40 minute games, but it was a good showing by the academies versus the U16s teams.
*edited to make it understandable.

Re: Andromeda FC U15 Pre-Academy
Yes, congrats to these boys. I saw one of their games against Txns South and was very impressed with how they competed against older boys. From what I heard, they lost several key starters to injury before the semi-finals and finals and were still able to win the tournament, very well done. Must be good coaching as well.

oh! i assumed 99 against 99 was normal. the only possible advantage the club teams might have had is 98 skilled players.

True on judgments made based on shorter duration games. However, there's another set of data that may support these results. Below are this season's U15 Fall Pre-Academy results.
http://npltexas.demosphere.com/schedules/2014-2015/71668028.html
In short, FC Dallas is in 1st place, Andromeda and Solar near the top and Dallas Texans near the bottom.

I know their 99 CL team had at least 1 (very good) Academy player guesting with them and didnt even get out of their bracket.

Texans Red made it to the finals of the Bobby Rhine tournament. They took care of FC Dallas Pre-Academy team in the semifinals. Andromeda Pre-Academy didn't win a game in the tournament.
So much for drawing conclusions from the results of these tournaments. It would be interesting to look back and see how the Pre-Academy teams fared historically in these two tournaments. Are there notable differences when Pre-A teams play as an U-13 versus an U-15?

Re: Andromeda FC U15 Pre-Academy
To EARBUCKET:
The reason Andromeda FC U15 PA team did not win this weekend was because they rested starters and injured players. They had the luxury of doing that because they are already in Dallas Cup!!!
Now what happened to FCD U15 PA team I have no clue. So you can draw whatever conclusions you want but now you have more info.
You're welcome....

Thank you, but I'll wait before drawing any conclusions.
