Rangers F.C. (Select Soccer for less than $400 a year!)

Rangers F.C. are still looking for one or two additional players for the 2015-16 season. We are interested in adding boys from the 01 age group who are interested in playing up a year as we are an '00 team.

We are based in the Lewisville/Flower Mound area and practice at the Crossroads Bible Church in Highland Village/Flower Mound (across from the Chinn Chapel soccer fields).

Rangers F.C. currently hold a bye into Plano D1 for the 2015-16 season.

We don't have the resources of the "big clubs" and we don't play in the classic league but we do offer several advantages.

1. Our coaches have experience playing and/or coaching at all levels but do not charge for coaching.
2. We have no incentive to have boys on our team who cannot contribute.
3. Almost all the boys on our team are playing for their high schools but few will go further than that. Our team is not more important than school.
4. As we don't charge for coaching our costs are less than $400 a year, including tournaments.
5. We don't do fundraisers we play for FUN.
6. We practice once or twice a week. Our practices are serious, progressive and fun. (During the school season when our boys are playing every day we practice less)
7. Some of our boys play other sports, some are in Scouts, some play on their schools varsity team, some play ODP, some came to us from top programs some had only played rec before joining us. Our players primarily come from Denton county but we have a few outliers.
8. We need a couple of extra players, as the boys are getting older they tend to miss more games because of other commitments. We ask you to be committed to our team and it's a two way street but our careers are not affected by your commitment.
9. If you don't like us we will sign a release at any time, we don't want players who aren't happy. (We haven't had anyone ask for a release yet)
10. We will be very competitive in the league we play in, we enjoy playing in tournaments against the better teams.
