U18 MNT Camp- Our area players all from FCD??
Just a question to think about?? with all our top Academy programs here in Texas most players getting called up do they all seem to be from FCD? are they doing a great Job at FCD and found a way to implement development and growth? are these players developed elsewhere and coming to FCDallas because they get looked at more for the NTeams? Just wondering???
What are your opinions and thoughts? or is it just the plain numbers of teams they have in the boys side of the club? Sheer numbers and when will their fields be maxed out as in too many teams?? Not trying to create issues, just impressed with FCDALLAS getting it done. or every Coach here in Texas giving these boys the right skills, technique, tactics, etc to be the best.

Re: U18 MNT Camp- Our area players all from FCD??
For those age groups your point makes sense.
However:
At the 01 age group the only kid called into the last camp from Texas was from Houston Dynamo academy.
The only kid from North Texas at the Residency in Bradenton right now with the U17 National team is from Solar.
The last time the 2002 age group National team got together, the only kids from Texas were from the Houston Dynamo and Lonestar Clubs.

It comes and goes among teams but FCD does seem to have a lot of them.

Re: U18 MNT Camp- Our area players all from FCD??
Brandon Servania. A native of Alabama, Servania moved to Dallas to play soccer at the next level with FC Dallas. He has a younger brother, Jaden, that plays for the FC Dallas U-14 Academy team. (not clear at what age he moved)

Mark Salas has been playing in the FC Dallas Youth system since the age of 6. He was part of the U-15 NPL National Championship and Copa Chivas Championship team in 2015. Salas was also selected for the 2015 adidas Generation Cup in Germany and was twice called-in to U.S. Boys National Team camps in 2013.

Paxton Pomykal is a Dallas-native that grew up playing for local club teams before joining the FC Dallas Academy. He was invited to the 2015 adidas Generation Cup in Germany and has trained with several top clubs in Europe. Pomykal has also attended id2 and ESP.

Andrew Morrison (Texans SC Houston; Kingwood, TX)... Is this Houston club in some way associated to our Texans clubs here? I wasn't immediately able to tell.
It isn't just FCD... The majority of the kids that were selected are associated to MLS academies. The publicity that the MLS academy programs can provide helps, no doubt.
