Can anyone shed light on DA cost for different clubs? Also, are the kids allowed to stay with parents when they travel or do they share rooms with other players?

Didn't your club tell you about this at the Academy orientation?

Each club is different, but you will probably have a team fee and some travel fees and maybe a kit fee.

For Solar 02DA it was $1500 for the year plus $150 worth of raffle tickets. Uniforms and training gear were provided by the club. Travel is paid by parents and no rules on who stays with whom as far as I am aware of.

I don't know if it is the same for every age group.

For FCD there is no charge for training and uniforms and training gear are provided free. They do charge small fees for vans to/from school and bus travel to away games. FCD pays for major travel to tournaments.

The only fee's for Dallas Texans at U14 DA and up (including U15 PA) is for travel. No rules for players to stay in players rooms. Im not sure about U12 and U13 DA

I am shocked that the evil empire is actually footing the bill for DA? I guess the Dark Lord has finally come to his senses. I heard KS screaming at the 02B's this weekend like he better get some results so maybe this is true.

I thought he was going to blow a gasket. Screaming at the top of his lungs. The Rec parents on the field next over thought a fight was going on .... Lol
They tied 2-2 against Solar 02 yesterday.

Been free for at least a couple of years. If you have watched or heard any KS games, that is pretty typical, especially with knuckleheaded plays in the back. I wanted to yell as well. lol!

All I know is that this year's Texans DA team looks a lot stronger and had a good game against a Solar Castro team that was none too happy with the final result. KS might end up turning things around faster than I had imagined.

Sounds like it was a good day all around for the Evil Empire, perhaps there is a shift in the universe  Question

The U14DA league seems depleted this year. Solar didn't play as well as last year and Texas Rush was bad in their first game. Maybe everyone went to FCD or Houston Dynamo?

FCD Beat the Dynamo team 2-0, but they usually have a more competitive game so hopefully the Lone Stars will offer more of a challenge to the returning league leader or FCD is just gonna roll through the division.

I saw the Solar game with the Dallas Texans who challenged for the ball well and put up a much stronger defense against Solar than last year. In all fairness it looks like a totally different squad this  season even though they have the same GK and many of the same players from last season.

Solar is still very good and will continue to improve with each game as they figure out how to play their bench more effectively,  but the Dallas Texans had some great goalkeeping against Solar that kept them in the game and a few standout moments when it counted to level it up for the draw.

FCD DA is 100% free, parents are required to pay for their own travel though and cannot ride the bus with players.
