European Academies, the kids that don't make it

Interesting article about the kids that don't make it after spending all of their youth years in a pro academy setting in Europe. Also further shows just how astronomically difficult it is to be a pro soccer player in Europe. Even after kids signs their first pro deals around age 17 with Premiere League clubs the number of kids still playing pro at age 22 is less than 5%. And that is of kids that were good enough to sign a pro deal at age 17.

I could not agree more, stay in school, if you all think Academy/Select is your ticket to a pro career, 99.9% of you will be wrong. My BB is the .1% LOL
