Group 1: CDI will come out on top with FCD Red joining them in PPL 1. Coppell and Mitlan (which i think should be Milan but not sure) would be hard to call without seeing mitlan/milan play.

Group 2: Im going for DFW Tornadoes in first with either FCD West or Metro in second. Unless Gennises has had a miracle, theyll be in PPL 2 this season.

Group 3: This is the toughest one to call. Considering wat happened last season, my prediction is TFC will come out on top with Liverpool in second. FCD White does have a chance though. As for the Aces, they will either be the suprise of the tourny or end up in the bottom.

Group 4: The way Solar ended last season i say would put them into first in the group. Andromeda will likely come in second as long as they dont have any slip ups against Inter or Texas X-Treme.

Those are my predictions for the top 2 going out of the group. As for the two wild card spots, those will most likely go to the third place teams in Group 2 and 3.
Any comments or predictions you think i might have missed?

Group A
CDI - not sure what they've added or lost but don't be surprised if you see some of their players driving themselves to the games this fall.
FCD Red - saw them in the DR. Pepper, still looks like swiss cheese to me.

Group B
DFW Tor - finish 1st b/c the field is so weak. Lost their "stud" player from last Spring.
FCD West or Metro... take your pick. Either one is a long shot to finish 1st or 2nd at the end of the year.

Group C - "Groupo de Muerto"
TFC Blue - again, weak field gets them into D1.
FCD White or Liverpool - it's a coin flip
FCD White - Coached by Che according to the website... any talent they had last yr is now in D2 Classic with Che's other team.
Liverpool - wasn't a well coached team before so if they lost any talented (only had 3 or 4), they'll find themselves in D2

Group D
Solar & Andro will finish 1 & 2... unless the real Inter-Milan shows up!

According to the verbage, there's only one wild card. That's only 9 teams when the division is suppose to be 10. Where is TX Stampede in all this?
Swindler... did you guys go to APL?

That is correct.

For the record, Texas Stampede was originally listed in bracket A, but that was a mistake. The scheduler mistook the team for the Denton Stampede, which played in Plano last year and finished 16th - which is why the team was seeded so low in bracket A. I understand the Denton team will be returning, but decided to skip the tournament.

Inter proved today they are no push over. When they play the way they did in the second half against solar they proved to be a pretty good team. The final was 2-2. At the half Solar had dominated the game but should have had atleast more than one goal at the end. In the second half inter came out flying scoring within the first minute of the second half. Solar replied about five minutes later and from there they seemed panicked. In the final minute of the game, a great splitting through ball put an easy tap in. Solar, however, did not look like the team from last spring the whole game. Bits and pieces were put together brilliantly but i think theyll have to step it up to take first in the bracket.
