It's an unfortunate situation for MLS on one hand, but it also shows that our system is starting to produce world class players.
Having trouble following this thread. So is the jest of this that George John was going to leave for the EPL because NTX youth soccer parents are whining about PHP parking fees at tournaments? And now he is staying because PLD is going to charge $7.00 instead of $5.00?
You got it but the catch was he had to be out there collecting it to cash in on it. So remember to have a pen ready and get an autograph when you shell out your $7.
Yes, and please donate to other MLS starters holding "Will play for money" signs...

After some further "research", there appears to be truth to this rumor that PHP parking will be free this year. I will probably faint from shock if this comes to pass, but let us be optimistic anyway.
I'd still recommend everyone bring some cash just in case.

Refs are being told where to go that they won't charge refs for parking so I would think that means everyone else is paying.

True. The tournament director sent an email to managers with a ton of good information, including the following paragraph..
"..Parking at all the soccer complexes is free. At Russell Creek Park, please park within the park boundaries. Do not park at the YMCA facility off McDermott Road at the northwest edge of the park. The YMCA is private property, and they will tow cars not authorized to park there. At the Ross Stewart Soccer Complex, do not park on Keenan Bridge Road. Limit parking is available on-site. Overflow parking is available at the AT&T facility on the east side of the complex."
Sweet.

great news to the people playing at Carpenter Park. Parking in the neighborhoods will be free as well as the 18 parking spots the complex has for all of us.
