DTS (Adames) Beat the Heat Tournament Champs - U11
The weather Saturday was horrible.
But DTS proved once again to be the dominant team.
Only 1 goal scored against the boys.

Tournament was well run and staff went out of their way to get it in.....the rain was crazy....there was some really good teams that would definitely make our D 1
Congrats to the boys for a well played tournament

Most tournaments around here would've been cancelled.
The staff did a very good job.
I'm thinking maybe D2.

Re: DTS (Adames) Beat the Heat Tournament Champs - U11
Did they play U9 or U10?
Really, the top team beats up on all the lower teams and you gloat?
DTS will get it handed it to them eventually. You all are way to cocky. Good but arrogant and someone is going to take you down. The kids even think they are the next coming. That's a problem.

Yea they have lost 6 times 4 of 6 to top 01 teams.....but why should a kid feel good about that and have confidence in their ability ....you really should meet the kids very respectful and well behaved....don't hate

Getwide I'm going to pray for you son, it seems like you have a lot of hate towards these boys! Move on this is just a game, you should huge your bb and tell him you love him. It's going to be okay.getwide wrote:Did they play U9 or U10?

You have issues. Why would even go there about the kids? They're hard working talented boys who have just as much right to be happy when they win as the next person. I think its more likely you're going to get it handed to you. Grow up and get over your jealousy. Even though your son couldn't make DTS I'm sure he's still AWESOME

Ooh ole get wide hit a nerve with south texans. Hate, jealousy (I will always take the prayers) but wow your a defensive bunch. Your the best team in dfw and have to play 01's for competition. I simply commented when your the best you don't have to gloat. And this was a parent post not a player.

Re: DTS (Adames) Beat the Heat Tournament Champs - U11
I am fairly new to this forum and to be honest with you I am about sick of hearing all of this bickering. I hear enough of that from my wife!
During Classic QT some of the DTS players walked by our team when we were stretching and made some snide remark, but you know what? These are 10 year old kids! Kids are going to be kids period. They are a very good team and should have class. I'm not saying they dont either. For that matter everyone, win or lose should have class and respect for the game. Likewise people on here should have some class too. I wonder where kids get it from if the parent is on here posting negative things about other teams that consist of 10 year olds. Jealously wont get you far. And if there are kids on here posting stuff then I ask were is the parent?
All I say is practice hard and often, have fun and remember that kids are kids and kids that are standouts at 10 are not always the standout at 15.
Lets keep all of the negative stuff off of here and be positive. Support and respect the game and each other.

You say you want to keep all the negative off here but have to put in the remark about big bad DTS making negative remarks to your kids.....really? .......come on maybe you herd what you wanted to....DTS kids aren't concerned about a group of boys stretching what they want to do is play some soccer .......that's it......now I don't kid my self to think that a kid might make fun of someone after all they are kids but I doubt out of the blue one of our kids went out of their way unprovoked to say something negative if they did please share what was so hurtful

Yes there was a comment made and it was not provoked. One other person and myself were the only ones that heard it other than the three DTS boys that walked by. It didnt hurt anyone and isnt worth repeating. I was only using that as an example of kids being kids and the way some adults act on here is amusing. Its no big deal! DTS is a great team and I'm sure all of the kids are great kids that have a passion for the game. I was just trying to point out that there are a lot of jealous people on here and people should not be that way. If they are just keep it off of here please. I dont like getting into this type of stuff and you will not see any negative comments from me on here. I have no problem with any player, coach, team, parent or league. Our team is a new team and an independent. We are not on the same level as DTS, SRC, FCDS and such right now. Will we be one day? Who knows. We have a group of great kids and parents with good qualified coaches that are not paid right now just to keep cost down as we build. We are trying to promote the game aswell as giving these boys a positive influence in a christian setting. I wish everyone all the best and hope to compete on the same level as DTS one day. We only have 25 matches under our belt right now and we are improving with each one we play. Good luck and God Bless!
