Can't wait to see the brackets... Yes DTS and the Big Red Machine are the favorites - I pick Red to win it all. But more intriguing was all the D2 smack talk a few weeks back. I hope we get to see Andro, Coppell, FCD South Red and the Strikers match up in a bracket. But then again... do we have to drive all the way to OKC to play the same teams even more?

And what happened with this tournament? Last year they only drew 4 local Oklahoma teams in this age group.

From the results it seems the best competition for Solar came from Coppell. This up and coming team has improved substantially from last season with the addition of former Solar players.

Having been out there this weekend and seeing some of the games, I have to agree with Ochocinco. I expect Coppell FC to be one of the top 2 D2 teams this year along with maybe the Wizards.

My comment was based more on being a little surprised at how competitive the oklahoma clubs were. Looks like Coppel did show well though.

Thank you for mentioning Coppell in the same statement as Solar. We have come a long way in a short time.

We only gave up one goal the whole tournament and that's to Solar Red.

We will take it.

What a turnaround, 6 months ago, this team was being humiliated by Gall's (and Oglesby's) boys and yesterday they were a PK away from defeating SR. It's encouraging to see indy teams succeed.

Great job, Coppell! Proof that you don't have to spend $3k to be competitive in NTX...Bonus, you can practice close to home and play with local friends.

Also proof of what recruiting several d1 players will do for a club. Get it to the Italians! Lol

Coppell should be careful about expectations. Andromeda beat premier than got a butt whipping in beat the heat, out scored 11-2 by better teams.one close game is not a barometer of a team IMO by the end of the season things will be much clearer. But coppell is definitely in the top 3 teams for d2

Recruiting is part of the game, and your team has done its' share. So, they are at the top of D2 at U12 for a fraction of the cost. cheers Puberty hits in about 2 years (or less) and everything changes anyway. By U16, none of this will matter. Go Coppell!!

Just want to state, we have improved but we have a long way to go. That would be too many leaps. Maybe next year. DT gall, Adames, Solar Red, Premier, that is a tall order, not to mention out of state teams.
