Tourney this weekend

Just saw that TFC Trevino beat odyssey in a tournament this weekend. Does anybody know which Odyssey team it was?

It was some conglomeration of stronger 03s and borrowed 04s. Had some conflict shenanigans due to mgr error, hence strange roster. My son one of group unable to play so still trying to figure out how same roster got such diff results against TFC in consecutive games. Ah well. Congrats to TFC all indications they played well today.

Ok thanks for clearing that up. I was wondering the same thing about the 2 games.

I will go with they are 10 year old boys as the reasoning. congrats to Trevino's team on the win.

It may have been the 8 of them that were 9 yr olds Very Happy

Odysseys group was a mix of players from A&B plus some 04's (plus that curly headed sweeper who seems to play for everybody in that area now) but it was the same roster for both the Saturday and Sunday game (Last game of a triple header on Saturday). TFC just played a different much stronger game Sunday. Some Odyssey players were also playing with the Texans Faber in that tourney.

Dual rostering is illegal. they should be careful with that. the Solar 01s and 02s girls teams playing in the Granbury tournament were forfeited in the finals for dual rostering players.

I don't think anyone was dual rostered, just playing with another team for that tournament.

gotcha. I am glad to see tournaments starting to do something about that problem. It is good to see.

My son guested on a team that played Odyssey on Saturday. I always like watching you guys play.

Another point concerning the TFC-Odyssey Saturday game would be the officiating. For the first half there was only one AR and for the second half there were not any. Add to that the two teams knowing going into the game they would be facing each other again the next morning may have played into the results as well.

Congrats to Wichita Falls, Odyssey, Dallas Texans Faber, and TFC for a great weekend.
