RIP Texas Longhorns Soccer Club
Only remaining coach listed on the website is now listed at Rush. Asenime's teams are MIA (reveal yourselves!)
The once storied and premier soccer club in the area and longtime Dallas Cup host appears to be no more after a long slow bleed.
The club's planned resurgence after the hiring of Waldrum as DOC fizzled with sleighted candidates bailing.
The failed merger with AYSES - egos were never going to mesh.
DOC Forsi takes his teams and forms a new club. LH's never figured out he was running his own club within a club.
Board out-maneuvered by every other club.
There may be a practice site available at Adventure Landing for a club lacking fields.

I have often wondered why no club seems to utilize the facility. Plenty of parking, central location, and plenty of fields...

It has for years been leased to the LH's, but sparsely used recently with the dwindling number of teams.

Heard Asenime's teams are now called Infinity. That's the case with the 96 group anyway. Guessing he is now an independent.
Curious too what has happened to CC West teams....have they gone the same route?

There is a "welcome" message concerning Asenime's 96 and 98 boys teams on Infinity's web site. Good for Raphael - great guy and the epidome of loyalty.

Adrian went to FC Dallas a couple of years ago.

Re: RIP Texas Longhorns Soccer Club
Why did Adrian's teams still play under the CC West banner last year? Or at least it looks like it based on league results...cool that he moved but I don't see how that would have worked. Would FCD not want their logos on the backs of those players once a move was made?
