Re: Do the Jesuits belong in the UIL?
The obvious explanation for the results in both football and soccer is demographic. Soccer is most successful in the affluent communities where families can afford to participate in club soccer competition. Jesuit, though not geographically defined, comports with this demographic. Conversely, football venues are provided exclusively by the school system and, hence, football is more egalitarian and diversified amongst the masses. On close inspection and analysis you will find that the assertions of nefarious behavior made against the Jesuits is naught but a well orchestrated campaign of disinformation coordinated by the illuminati, whose historic hatred of the true church is well documented.

Dallas Jesuit v. Stake Jesuit
just like in the old TCIL days! These two teams probably met 20 times in the TCIL finals over the past 30 years in the pre-UIL days.
Go Jesuit(s)!
PS: So whatever happened to the stripping nun? Ha

She is saving herself for a mission trip down to Georgetown. She will be participating in the 5A boys championship trophy presentation tomorrow.irish86 wrote:just like in the old TCIL days! These two teams probably met 20 times in the TCIL finals over the past 30 years in the pre-UIL days.

Nice. Please remind the Sisters of Perpetual Martyrdom that charity begins at home, as in Dallas. If the Dallas Jesuit team does not win the championship I will send you and yours to the restaurant of your choice on the house. I'm sure you'd reciprocate, right? If not, you can still call me on my offer. I won't let you down.

Rex Rayfield
And lest I forget to make a specific prediction, Dallas Jesuit's Rex Rayfield will score the winning goal. He got two yesterday, and his dad was a machine when he played for Charlie many moons ago...That kid, and the team, are on a mission, and I think Rex Sr. was on the Dallas Jesuit team that beat Strake 3 or 4 years in a row

My prediction is that Jesuit wins the UIL Championship today for the first time. Why? See clip...

To think that we have had centuries of dialectic on divine dispensation when all we had to do was resolve the issue with a soccer game. Truly, we are living in a marvelous time. Your views: does the resurgence of the church mark the beginning of the end of times or the beginning of a new historical epoch.

Interesting move by Jesuit Strake to put a defender in the goal for the shootout.
I will say Jesuit Dallas earned the championship. They played alot of really good teams in Region I and came out on top.

Actually he is a keeper playing on the field. He got a soccer scholarship as a keeper to Notre Dame.

that defender actually is the starting keeper for the Dynamo Development Academy team. he, obviously, plays in the field for Strake and is a decent defender. so the switch is not a confusing as it seems.
