Looks like WEEK 2 has one interesting game to watch. A good TOP 4 D2 matchup in Dallas Rush vs Solar Martinez. The TOP D2 team, going against the #3 or 4 D2 team?

Garland Tigres barely avoid relegation with 2 win's in their last three games, beating FCD Suarez and ETX Wildcatters.  Congrats to them on staying in D1 for u12.  The other interesting point is the logjam from 6th to 11th (separation by only 3 points, a single win over 19 games) with some wild swings the last two weekends (Kennington's loss to FCD ETX dropping them from 6th to 10th for example).

Biggest disappointments have to be LP Carragher and Solar Volkan here.  Weren't many at the start of the season that wouldn't pegged Volkan to still be in D2 next season and with Carragher's start to the season, I'm surprised they missed out.  Just shows it takes a complete fall and spring to promote.

And now we move to Silly Season.

DT Dallas and DT Red both likely gone to DA.  FCD Academy likely gone to DA.  Solar McKinney gone to DA.  Solar Kennington and Solar Volkan both losing their top 3 to 5 players to DA (what form will either exist in next season?).  Dallas Rush looking to lose their top 3 to 5 players.  What happens to the Dallas Rebels (CONGRATS on winning D1 btw)?  Could see them at DT South DA or at FCD next season.  How many kids leave Allegiance for the DA pastures?  What about LP Owens' top players?

Who fills to the two DT D1 byes?  They didn't even have a team in D2 at u11.  Who fills Solar McKinney's D1 bye (Solar Lanier I suspect).  Does Solar Kennington hang around or does Solar Volkan fill that bye in D1?  Suspect an FCD Premier team is put together that fills the FCD Academy D1 bye, but that'll likely leave Suarez and Che scrambling for players to some degree as you have to think their boys will largely be the pool that FCD Premier pulls from.

And who knows where those extra 50 or so players needed to fill the DA slots come from.

Wouldn't be surprised if Tigres didn't bring in some ringers to keep their D1 bye.  Certainly seemed to be a different team than they fielded earlier this Spring.  Wouldn't be out of character with their reputation.
