Well its always been that way. The better kids always go north because if your child is not Hispanic your child typically doesn't get a fair chance to compete.because Hispanic coaches play favorites to Hispanic kids. That's why most non Hispanic kids go north. Better coching and besides nothing worse than being the only non Hispanic player on the team And the coach screaming spanish from the sideline. Jut my oppinion

True. We are prolly the only South team with mostly non hispanic kidsthat plays in Primetime and UAL. We will find a few more kids with time. Guess we have 2 years b4 select now.

Ummm, if your kid is good enough he's going to play regardless of location. They're are some great teams that have come from the dirty south with players of different ethnic backgrounds......so if your kiddo is good enough he'll play beacause coaches want to win, they'll even find a way to get around the language barrier if one even exist. I'm not from the south even though I'm hispanic, maybe I got it all wrong and went west...must have taken the wrong side of 820 somewhere.

My older kid was linesman in a game last weekend in Arlington and I went to watch. I watched a liverpool academy team play and they were all Hispanic with the exception of one little blonde kid who was really good and sure enough he was the first sub. I thought to myself the cycle continues. I thought well they'll be taking him north soon.

Maybe your in denial or like the Hispanic coaches who play favorites

I'm not arguing. I just hope there's an unfiltered poster in the' 06AP agegroup. Keeps it entertaining.

My kid has played for 2 different Hispanic coaches in the south and my experience has been that the coach will play the best players regardless of the ethnicity. I have seen more issues with favorites when they are the coaches or manager kids but again I don't think we can generalize.

I have a firsthand counter example, but you guys wouldn't believe it unless you saw it.
