In my opinion, I don’t think that it does. If anything, I think it hurts any potential customers' concerns. I think the addition of this rule will leave MORE people feeling slighted then ever before.
it really is a slap in the face. pay thousands of dollars but if the team needs a win umm, we don't need you this weekend. ridiculous and insulting to every paying customer...

Naive??? ALL the clubs have players that play two, three even 4 games in a week despite the rules. They all break them! My independent team has been victim in our play as how can we beat a Liverpool team 12-1 and then meet that same team 4 weeks later and the boys are all different and now the final score is 3-2 in a fierce struggle. with or without the rule the big clubs "Guest play" their players all the time. Anyone who says different is truly Naive, is looking the other way or is participating in the sharing of their child with other teams.
