Really Michael Brown tournament directors??????????
I thought I would help you all out with a link to a really cool and innovative site called www.weather.com Weather.com even has an app( short for application) if your lucky enough to have one of those futuristic "smart phones"
For the past few days they have said it will be low 30's and high 20's with 20-25 mile hour gusts on Thursday night so pretty much a "feels like temp of 10 degrees F" and guess what.. THEY WERE RIGHT!!!!!... Yet you wait until right before the start of the 7:00 pm games to cancel the games due to the cold? Well now you know for next time. Oh and if your curious, I am predicting that it will still be in the mid 30's but much less wind at 7 pm tonight and then getting much warmer on Saturday - mid 60's and even into the low 70's on Sunday..... Lets see how this crazy weather.com thing works out for my predictions and if I am right, maybe next year you can try it out when deciding if your going to play or cancel games.

Saw that. Heard they are charging to park. Anyone know how much?

We played at 7pm and it was freezing. The 830p games were cancelled and rescheduled.

FCD tournaments always (that I'm aware of) charge $5 to park.

Thanks. Didn't know whether it would be $5 or $10. I recall paying $10 at some point. A long, long, time ago.

I guess our team and several others didn't get the memo. We were all pleading with the ref to shorten the halves and asking for a 2 min half. Def in the top 5 coldest matches I've seen.

Freezing Temperatures
Our 8:30 game was canceled and we were told they are not rescheduling. They should cancel tonight as well. Temperatures will not be any better. There is nothing to be gained by having the boys play when they are frozen. Defeats the point of a "warm-up" tournament.

Re: Really Michael Brown tournament directors??????????
We didn't get the courtesy of a cancellation. Our entire squad showed up and the other team no-called, no-showed. Two of their members were standing on the field with our team when their coach told them not to come. Rediculous!

Re: Really Michael Brown tournament directors??????????
at least waiting until the last minute to cancel the games guarantees they can collect a little more on the ridiculous $5/day parking fee for those players that still show up to the fields before finding out it's cancelled.
