Clearly, the 8 CL teams will all advance back into Classic. Those on this forum know that CL is competition and talent is much superior than PPL and APL (i am half joking here).

Cobritas??? How can they still be a team. They were kicked out of APL for using illegal (older) players. I am shocked (i am half joking) CL would allow them to enster into the challenge!

Why do 2 teams advance out of a 3-team bracket and 2 teams advance out of a 5-team bracket (the group of death)? Makes no sense.

Format for U 15 boys:

U15B
8 teams needed
1st weekend - No teams qualify first weekend
2nd weekend - 1st and 2nd place teams from 1st weekend placed into 4 brackets - top 2 in each bracket (8 teams) advance to league

it would seem logical for the winner of each bracket the first weekend gets a D3 spot then everybody else fight for the last spot the second weekend but you guys know the story its whatever makes the most money Rolling Eyes

Group A

Liverpool and Meja Taylor advance to next weekend.

Group B

TXL Black advances to next weekend
Second is a battle between Solar Gold (14 pts) and DFW Tejanos (5 pts).
TXL Black vs. Solar Gold
DFW Tejanos vs. FCD Black

Group C

Xtreme (19), Meja (11) and Irving Galaxy (10) battle for the top two spots.
Xtreme vs. Meja
Irving Galaxy vs. Mexico

Group D

Ft Worth White (14) , FCD Central Blue (10) and High Plains Drifters ( Cool

battle for the top two spots.

Just noticed that, if you look at the flight results grid, Brackets E & F are combined into one flight... So, will two teams advance from each bracket or just two from the flight?

Nice 3-2 win by FCD Blue Central. Overcame 2 goal deficit, bad reffing and the 'rough' style of play from HP Drifters. Numerous FCD players left game with injuries...and yet no penalties. Oh well. Will take win and move onto next week. Good luck to the others today.

Brackets of 4 4 3 3. Top two from each bracket qualify for D III.

5 PPL teams in it (4 D1 and 1 D2)

Didn't see any teams play this weekend. But in my mind there are 3 teams that have a good chance for the last 2 positions (BIG assumption here that the 6 remaining Classic teams get in).

Real GP, Meja Taylor, and United Strikers.

Looks like they are adding 2 wild cards to this weekend. After all the stress of surviving the group of death (group of 5), now they make a change in the middle of the tournament???
