Liverpool Legends - Congrats to Both Solar 06 teams!

Both Solar clubs ended up with the top spots in the Liverpool Legends Gold division this weekend.
Would have loved to see some of the clubs in the Silver division step up into the Gold division...

Congrats to Solar on a job well done!!

Both Solar teams had a great showing. Also, great groups of parents. Our TSC boys had fun playing both of you.

Thanks. It was a fun tournament. Your TSC team did well, especially getting a tie against SC McDaniel.

Hope y'all keep coming down for Texas tournaments.

There were two teams that originally signed up for Gold but dropped down the day before the tournament. Not sure who but it sure messed up the schedules and really took away from the Silver teams.

Before they switched, the Silver teams were guaranteed 4 games. Considering most of these teams were packed with 07's (of which one I am a fan), they really could have used the extra game.

After the switch, the Silver teams only got three guaranteed games. Oh well...

LP corrected a mistake by moving TSC up to Gold, but then I'm not sure why they moved the Texans down. We could have had a 6 team gold bracket and played semis and finals.

But I thought the 5 team bracket was fine. At least it's fair. Everyone plays everyone, unlike the jacked up brackets primetime puts together sometimes.

I saw the schedule for the AFC Adidas Summer Classic. Looks like Solar definitely has one for the tougher schedules including LP Barnes and FCD Riojas. Strange that not all Teams will face each other in a "round robin" type of situation. Despite the events that took place, I wish the boys the best and am sure that they will put on another spectacular show. For one last time....GO SOLAR!
