NTFC(Formerly AFC 01 Black), Open tryouts

North Texas Futbol Club (NTFC) 01 Boys Black is looking for a few more talented players for the upcoming season with Coach Steven Shirley. The team had an excellent 2013-14 season Finishing 3rd in Plano 1 and winning 3 tournaments, 2 of which involved beating classic 2 opposition. We finished the year ranked 23rd on the gotsoccer rankings. We are looking to strenghen the squad for the 2014-15 season to help complete our goal of qualifying for Classic League. Our team offers a great competitive enviroment to learn and advance your ability of the game.

Coach Stephen Shirley is one of numerous highly respected North Texas based coaches that make up NTFC, which was established by John Hedlund, the head of the soccer program at the University of North Texas. NTFC offers an innovative and unique environment that separates us from other clubs. Much like a college athlete, our players (and family members) are provided with full access to our indoor/outdoor training facilities and a professional sports performance staff to support both team and individual athletic development. Every select coach will tell you they want their players putting in the extra time on skills training and sports performance training. We have made things just a little easier for our athletes by providing high level Soccer coaching and expert athletic training in one facility.

NTFC is part of Game On Athletics and all of our select soccer players and their family members are provided with a membership when they become part of our Team. Our select players and family members receive access to our indoor/outdoor training facility and can attend fitness classes, sports performance sessions and sports camps and clinics.

Our facilities provide our athletes with full access to a 10,000 sf indoor training space, a sports court, training equipment and staff and a full-size lighted outdoor turf soccer field.

Open Tryouts: Tuesday / Thursday from 7pm- 8.30pm at the Game On facility in Denton (2686 Old Alton Rd).
