U!$ ACADEMY VS PRE ACADEMY VS HIGH SCHOOL

There have been developments since I have last been involved with youth soccer. Last time when i was involved personally, was when their were only a u18 USSF academy and u16. Now there is a U14 one. What will be the perks of starting at U14 Academy? What will become of Pre Acdemy? Is it going to become irrelevant, and with that the qualitiy of D1 will drop won't it? With that said, now the decision to play for High School will fall on a 14 year old? with pre-academy, many players before making the decision of Academy Vs High School got the chance to at least try high school for a year or two.

much easier to give up high school soccer if they never experience it. can always drop out and play highshool later
