DT 98s (Craft) shrinking?

Has DT 98s lost some players or something? Their web page is only showing 12 players (including no GK). Or is it just a web page glitch?

Maybe Crafty has something up his sleeves silent

. JK !!!!!! The only thing I could think of is that his roster has changed and it involves 4 players.

I believe soccernutz07 is correct because DTRS 97b is only showing 10 players.

DTRS 97B better get their roster together before that San Diego tourney , end of July... there are some MONSTROUS teams on the accepted list - looks like a Region 4 Cup !!

Their roster is complete but just not updated with names and #s.

TF13 longtime no see. I really cannot wait till this years preseason numbers are crunched, ought to interesting.

Their keeper from last season didn't finish out the season. They didn't even have a true keeper for the State Cup. They have a full a roster with several new players...pushing some former first teamers down to DTR.

pushing players down to D2??? Yikes I am sure those players/parents were not happy.

Push player down to the 2nd team is not as bad as some people think. To some parents, it's a demotion but to other, more playing time for their child. Why pay all that money to have them sit on the bench.

Yeah, don't make it sound like their being sent to Afghanastan or some other horrendous outpost.
D2's not such a bad place.

As good as it is for those players and for DTR, let's not pretend that they were happy about it...especially when it happens right before signing. At the end of last season, DTR was showing improvement and this only helps. I think they will be very competitive in D2 this year because of it and that will make it all okay for most.

Not to say D2 is a bad place... Just saying, playing D1 with team that finished 2nd in Classic last year to be relegated to at team that finished 18th... pay practically same amount of money... I dont think that is a happy situation, unless my kid was not playing at all. Why not find another team in D1 and probably pay less money?
I must be over thinking it.

I don't think so....at least one reason is that they wait right before signing before they let them know that they have been "relegated" so there's no time to find another team
