Signing Party/Event
What are some things your various clubs have done for signing day or what have you seen other clubs do? Big and small?
I've stated before, we are a new club, just 3 Competitive teams and 1 academy team at the moment. However we are planning a signing day "event" if you will, but I just thought I'd pick everybody's brain and see what types of things everybody else did?
It seems like it should be a fun, special event, especially for the kids who are brand new to competitive soccer.
Thanks....

Re: Signing Party/Event
The kids usually run around and play like normal. The coach and manager usually drink a lot of beer and are once again relieved and surprised they were able to pull it off again and have enough kids to make a team. After the paperwork is signed and the manager and coach are feeling good they will throw water balloons at the kids in what the kids think is goodhearted fun but really they are just paying the parents back for staying on the fence so long.
